Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to the LocalPDF website, app, and paid plans. By using LocalPDF or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.
1. Who operates LocalPDF
LocalPDF is operated through the website at localpdf.online. For support, billing questions, privacy requests, or legal notices, contact support@localpdf.online.
2. What LocalPDF provides
LocalPDF provides PDF tools and document workflows, including editing, merging, OCR, conversion, protection, and related functionality. Some features may be available for free, and some require a paid Pro subscription or a valid license state.
We may update, improve, suspend, replace, or remove features over time. We may also change packaging, usage limits, pricing, and plan structure.
3. Accounts, subscriptions, and license keys
- Paid access may be sold as a monthly or yearly Pro subscription.
- Checkout and billing may be handled by our payment provider, LemonSqueezy.
- After purchase, you may receive a license key or equivalent subscription credential.
- You are responsible for keeping your license key secure.
- License keys are personal to the purchaser or intended customer and may not be resold, sublicensed, or shared abusively.
- We may limit, suspend, or revoke access in cases of fraud, abuse, payment reversal, or misuse of the licensing system.
4. Renewals and cancellation
If a Pro plan is sold as a recurring subscription, it renews automatically until canceled through the payment provider or applicable customer portal. Canceling stops future renewals but does not retroactively reverse charges already processed, unless required by law or covered by our refund policy.
Additional billing and refund details are described on the Refund Policy page.
5. Acceptable use
- You may use LocalPDF only for lawful purposes.
- You must not process documents you do not have the right to handle.
- You must not attempt to bypass feature restrictions, licensing checks, or technical safeguards.
- You must not reverse engineer, abuse, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service.
- You must not use LocalPDF to infringe intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights.
6. Document accuracy and user responsibility
PDF editing, OCR, conversion, extraction, compression, and redaction-related workflows can produce imperfect results. You are responsible for reviewing output files before relying on them for business, legal, financial, compliance, or archival purposes.
You should keep your own backups of important files. LocalPDF is a productivity tool, not a substitute for your own validation, document controls, or records policy.
7. Privacy and data handling
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using LocalPDF, you acknowledge that payment, analytics, support, and technical operations may involve third-party services described there.
8. Intellectual property
LocalPDF, its branding, site content, software, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except where allowed by law, you may not copy, distribute, modify, sell, or exploit our software or site content without permission.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
LocalPDF is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalPDF will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, business, goodwill, or documents arising from or related to your use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to paid services will not exceed the amount you paid for LocalPDF in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted on this page unless stated otherwise.
